1. Definitions

In this document, "Service" refers to the online courses and mentoring offered by Backprop Labs. "User", "you", or "learner" refers to anyone accessing our website or enrolled in a course. "We", "us", or "our" refers to Backprop Labs. "Content" means the course material, notebooks, and resources we provide. "Agreement" refers to these terms together with our Privacy Policy.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling in a course or submitting a form on our website, you agree to this Agreement. Our services are intended for individuals aged 18 or older who have the legal capacity to enter into this Agreement.

3. Service Description

Backprop Labs provides online AI development courses, including the AI Starter Lab Course, Machine Learning Experiment Track, and Applied AI Research Studio. Course availability and scheduling may vary and are communicated during enrollment. Services are provided to learners in Thailand and internationally, subject to local law.

4. User Responsibilities

You agree to use our courses and materials for personal learning purposes and to interact respectfully with mentors and fellow learners. Prohibited activities include sharing course access credentials with others, redistributing course material without permission, and submitting another person's work as your own during mentor review.

We reserve the right to suspend access for conduct that disrupts the learning environment for other participants.

5. Intellectual Property

All course materials, notebooks, and video lessons remain the property of Backprop Labs. Enrollment grants you a limited, non-exclusive license to use this material for your own learning. You retain ownership of the original code and projects you personally create during a course.

6. Payment Terms

Course prices are listed in Thai Baht (฿) on our Solutions page. Payment methods accepted are communicated at the time of enrollment. If you are unable to continue a course within the first week, you may request a refund by contacting us at [email protected]; refunds after this period are considered on a case-by-case basis.

7. Course-Specific Terms

Enrollment gives access to the materials for the track you have purchased. Completion records are issued once the required project work for a track has been submitted and reviewed by a mentor. We ask that learners engage with the material honestly, as academic integrity supports the value of the completion record for everyone.

8. Disclaimers

Our courses are provided on an "as is" basis. While we aim to provide accurate, current material, we do not guarantee specific career or project outcomes from completing any course. Nothing in our courses should be treated as professional or legal advice.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Backprop Labs' liability arising from your use of our services is limited to the amount you paid for the relevant course. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and neither party is liable for delays caused by events beyond reasonable control.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify Backprop Labs against claims arising from your misuse of the service or violation of this Agreement.

11. Termination

Either party may terminate this Agreement at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these terms. Sections relating to intellectual property, liability, and dispute resolution survive termination.

12. Dispute Resolution

This Agreement is governed by the laws of Thailand. Any disputes will first be addressed through informal discussion between the parties. If unresolved, disputes fall under the jurisdiction of the courts of Thailand.

13. General Provisions

This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between you and Backprop Labs regarding the service. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in effect. Failure to enforce a provision does not waive our right to do so later.

14. Changes to Terms

We may update this Agreement from time to time. Changes take effect once posted on this page, and continued use of our services after an update means you accept the revised terms.
